I have always believed that business is about more than numbers, transactions and balance sheets. It is about understanding how the world is changing and where the next generation of opportunities will emerge.
Through my columns, I share perspectives shaped by my journey across Africa, the Middle East and other emerging markets. I write about entrepreneurship, investment, technology, artificial intelligence, infrastructure and the evolving relationship between economies and people. Many of these views come from experiences on the ground—building businesses, entering new markets, meeting policymakers and entrepreneurs, and learning from both success and failure.
I do not write to predict the future. I write to contribute to the conversation around it. These columns are my observations on the forces reshaping business and society, and on why I believe some of the world’s most important opportunities will emerge from places that have historically been underestimated.
